Growth4VA, ODU To Host Innovation + Entrepreneurship Regional Campaign Kick Off

RICHMOND – The Growth4VA campaign is pleased to partner with Old Dominion University to host the second regional kick-off event for the Growth4VA campaign tomorrow, Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 9:30 AM. The event will highlight ODU alumna entrepreneur, Kay Brown, student entrepreneurs who will showcase their businesses, and will feature ODU President John Broderick, VBHEC Chair Gil Minor, Senator Lynwood Lewis, and Delegate Matthew James.

One of the Growth4VA campaign’s strategic goals is to make Virginia a recognized home of innovators and entrepreneurs. Business investment and talented young people are attracted to places where innovation and entrepreneurship are encouraged, cultivated, and rewarded. Virginia’s higher education institutions are at the center of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and this event will demonstrate one example of how our higher education institutions help to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship in the Commonwealth.
